Service & Consultations

I have always emphasized the perfect guitar setup. While I cannot always service guitars other than those from my workshop, I am open to such work, including consultations. Unfortunately, I do not have the capacity for repairs or restoration projects, but I am happy to recommend a suitable repairer or restorer based on your inquiry.

Hourly rate: 60 €

Guitar service
The hourly rate covers labor and communication with the customer (the amount does not include consumables, hardware, strings, etc.). Payment is due upon pickup of the guitar.

Consultations
Available for fellow luthiers, students, or other enthusiasts, either by phone, chat, video call, or in person. Video calls and in-person consultations in my workshop are offered in Czech only. All consultations must be paid in advance.

Ordering

Financing of the guitars is usually done in advance, as agreed. After submitting an individual price offer and compiling a bill of materials, the customer pays 50% of the instrument price in advance. For guitars that are hardware- or otherwise design-intensive, I usually require 35% plus 35% of the price evenly distributed over time. The delivery time of the guitar is from twelve to twenty-four months from the date of ordering and deposit. This is of course taking into account the current waiting list.

The voicing I offer across all models is designed to meet the demands of modern, responsive sound.
I particularly enjoy working with
Dolomite or Carpathian spruce for top plates. I also love Honduran mahogany, maple, and other tonewoods. I believe wood needs space — time — for its full character to emerge through regular playing.
The goal isn’t a flashy instrument with instant volume that fades over time. It’s about
lasting sound quality, stability, and depth.”
